I noticed that you Phil Crockett, that you cranked down on the rings and tighten very tight. Rings are to be finger tip tight. and @Dreemwever made a question comment; “No need to vent Canner for 10 mins prior to placing weight on petcock?” Yes most definitely the pressure canner needs a 10 minute venting before puting weight on petcock. (See canner manual) Phil your video was very good, I liked your idea of blanching the green beans.

Do they still have the same type of taste as the ones from the store?because the metal canned ones gave a slight off metallic flavor,will the metal lid cause the same effect?
