When cooking on a small budget, learning to cook from scratch is a must. Not only will it save you money, but it’s healthier for you too. When cooking from home you get to choose exactly what goes into your meals which is then what nourishes your body. During tough times you have to make every penny count and I’ll share some tips on how I do that in the kitchen.

Kelsey

I was raised to believe that i could never throw food in the bin. I had to think about what I could do with any leftovers and sometimes these meals were better than the original ones . After that anything left went to the dog and whatever he didn’t eat went out for the birds. I can honestly say you will never find food in my bin
Appreciate these simple meals they look delicious and yummy.
My mom would do a dumpling short cut…take flour tortillas and cut into strips, then half.
Proceed to add to pot, as recipe states for dough dumplings.
Obviously, the strips made thinner “dumplings”
Love content, please continue
Thank you for sharing , I have had these meals growing up here in Lancaster , Pa , Amish country
