    I been watching folks make apple butter outdoors. These folks aren’t even sterilizing their jars. Just taking the plastic off the box and opening the jars and putting hot apple butter in them.

    i also dont believe about conspiracies behind canning safety guidelines… its not like pressure canners manufacturers print billions every year and the government brain washes canners into buying them lol if you get into the practice, spending 100-200 dollars extra for a pressure canner that will probably last you a lifetime is def worth it. besides, over time you safe a lot of energy cost i guess, cuz in a pressure canner the cooking time is at least half, right?

    I dont believe the USDA. I put much stock on those that lived on it. Its probably about greed and money.

    For me, if the government says something, I take it as a lie. They have been lying the history of the governments. They lie, cheat and steal. We know that more and more these days.
