Can you use the cooked apple scraps from your apple sauce to make ACV? Or does it need to be uncooked apple scraps??

You didn’t have to blanch your apples first before adding the sauce and then putting them in jars? When I didn’t blanch my apples, the apples siphoned SO MUCH!!!! And then the apples swelled and had a mushy apple sauce texture when eaten. So now I MUST blanch my apples before I can. I hate soggy and mushy apples. How do you keep your apples more crisp and less soggy for apple pie filling canning?

Where do you get a mother for the vinegar if your acv doesn’t have one
